Clothes

If your child borrowed clothes from the clinic, please wash and return them as soon as possible.

Change of Clothes in Backpacks

Parents of all students please consider putting a full change of clothes in your child's backpack. The clinic's supply of clothes is very low and often we cannot supply change in case of an accident. Please place the change of clothes in a zip lock bag and it can stay in the student's backpack in case it is needed. That will save you a trip to the school and get your student back in class and feeling fresh in no time.

Vision and Hearing Screening

We screen hearing and vision for Kindergarten, third grade, and all students new to Prince William County Public Schools. If your child has been screened during their well visit within the last year, these results can be used in lieu of an assessment at school.   The Lions Club is sometimes utilized for these screenings. If your child fails the first hearing screening, they will be re-screened within a period of time. If they fail a second time, a notification letter and referral is sent home with the student. Please contact your Pediatrician with the failed results and have your student re-evaluated. If a child fails the vision screening, a referral letter is sent home and the parent is to follow up as necessary.
If your child wears eyeglasses, please make sure that they wear them.
