Vision
By participating in the comprehensive school counseling program, the students of Henderson Elementary will be able to demonstrate resiliency, growth mindset, citizenship, and responsibility. Students will be collaborative lifelong learners and leaders who are well-prepared to make a positive impact in our community.
Mission
The mission of Henderson Elementary’s school counseling department is to provide equitable access to a data-informed comprehensive school counseling program which will inspire all students to reach their maximum potential through academic, career, and social/emotional development. Henderson Elementary’s school counseling program provides developmentally appropriate activities including individual and small group counseling and school counseling curriculum lessons. School counselors at Henderson Elementary promote a creative learning environment, rigorous curriculum, and positive forward thinking and in doing so, encourage students to become successful lifelong learners and productive citizens.

PWCS school counselors recognize that students and parents or guardians have a right to know the limits of confidentiality. Please see PWCS Regulation6 51-2 regarding information on the confidentiality of student-disclosed information.
A Message From The Office Of Student Services
PWCS cares deeply about students' emotional well-being during their time away from school. If a student is in need of emotional support during this time, please feel free to send an email to [email protected]. A school mental health or health professional will answer and offer virtual support to students to the best of their ability. This email is not to be used for emergency situations as it will not be monitored 24 hours a day. If a student is ever in an emergency situation, he/she is encouraged to call 911 or utilize one of the resources listed below:
