Congratulations to our Henderson Elementary Battle of the Books team, for earning first place at the 2026 Prince William County Schools Battle of the Books competition. The event was held at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. 

During both the semifinals and finals, Henderson stood out among all teams—we were the only team to answer every question accurately, an incredible accomplishment that truly reflects the students’ hard work, teamwork, and dedication.

A huge shout-out to our amazing coaches, Mrs. Kim Gaw and Ms. Sarah Kelly, for their outstanding leadership and commitment to our students.

Way to go, Team Henderson Huskies!
